Now all of us have another reason to go to a Westin Hotel aside from their "heavenly bed". Nintendo has announced that they will supply their Wii games to the Westin Hotel chain! According to news reports, the Bellevue and New York City Westin Hotels got the game systems on May 1st, 2008. Some of the Wii systems feature Nintendo's Wii Fit games. They are the first hotel chain to use the Nintendo product.

According to reports, Nintendo and Westin will introduce the system to eight more hotels in May, including hotels in

  • Hilton Head, S.C.
  • Kansas City, Mo.
  • Toronto
  • Hollywood, Calif.
  • San Francisco
  • St. Louis
  • Houston
  • Savannah Harbor, Ga.

According to Nintendo, Westin will roll out additional Wii systems "following guest feedback." What does that mean to you? That means if you love the Wii, make sure you tell Westin management!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Wii! Now Wii can get fit with the Wii at a Westin Hotel even if Wii are on the road! It's Wii, Wii, Wii - even away from home!

Don't you just love technology? Enjoy the Wii!

Will The Wii Fit Be A Success In America?
Date Posted : 5/4/2008  |  Author : The Wii Wii Master

Nintendo's Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has expressed some concern over the Wii Fit system and it's level of success in America. Nintendo has sold over 2 million Wii Fit units in Japan. Miyamoto has voiced concern that their success there may be due to cultural differences.

According to Miyamoto, there is a concern about the sales in America because on average, American families are apart more often than those in Japan. He also feels that a lot of families have parents who have separated or divorced, so it will be tougher to predict the role family will play in the American response to Wii Fit.

I for one am getting a Wii Fit. You can preorder your system now! Don't be left behind! The Wii Fit system makes its US debut on May 19, 2008. I can't wait and I know I'm not alone!
